Unconditional and Passionate Love At Its Core

Luv Stories of Maui Marital Bliss... from real people like you

with unconditional and passionate love at its core.

šŸ˜‰

Our love story ā¤ļø and

the magic that first attracted us to each other…

There has never been any sort of unattraction other than the fact that I was really short in high school when we first met…

so

I was easily ā€œoverlookedā€, even though she now says

that she thought I was ā€œcuteā€

We became friends quickly and easily and I also had a massive crush on her,

but like I said, I was 4ā€™10ā€ and she was 5ā€™4ā€.

We both graduated in the class of ā€˜93 and I had grown to 5ā€™0ā€ thanks to a growth hormone treatment that I started as a junior.

We didnā€™t keep in touch after high school and

went our own ways.

We both ended up marrying and having 2 children each

that are very close in age and gender.

We both ended up going through divorce in 2006 and

we both went on to date and form new relationships

in our own attempts to satisfy what we felt we were looking for…

a family life with unconditional and passionate love at its core.

Eleven years later,

we reconnected through social media and went on our first date on July 19th, 2016.

Needless to say,

it was 2 hearts throbbing at first site,

we laughed and reminisced for hours and it got late all too fast… we seamlessly picked up right where we left off…

and went on together never looking back.

For the first time ever,

Domini and I saw something in each other

that we were not used to…

spending time and living life with someone rather selfless.

We both see life as the present that weā€™ve been graced with

and our hopes and dreams play together in our imagined future.

We love that we know that we will always be

the best part of each other… and that this life

is only a beautiful sample of what God has created forever.

And

this is the glue that makes it stick

With much Aloha Roger,

Chris & Domini

Chris & Domini ā€“ Luv Story Blessing

Wise Saints and Enlightened Sages have always said:

ā€œEverything that has happenedā€¦ had to.ā€

In the Divine ā€˜Wayā€™ ā€¦

You both were meant to go down that

long and winding road of lifeā€¦

Gaining such experiences, learning and ā€¦ ā€˜growingā€™ā€¦ (fun intended)

The ineffable nature that is ā€˜the Divineā€™ā€¦

Has strange ways of Awakening us.

The apparent miserable time spent living with

a self-centered partner

allows us to fully appreciate a selfless Soulmate.

Everything from an irritating trivial issue

to lifeā€™s most devastating challengesā€¦

Are all Doors to Transcendence.

To have fallen in love later in life,

Yet share a lifetime of memoriesā€¦

Along with our growing age,

these experiences help create wholesome Wisdoms.

Only the utterly unevolved would choose to

cast away their Wisdoms of age,

For their youthful splendorā€¦ and

ignorance.

You have come to the point in life

that all your experiences have gained you Wisdoms

You can rest in the cradle of each otherā€™s Love

Abide in the Oneness of each otherā€™s hearts and souls.

To Be ā€˜inā€™ the moment,

Fully present awake and aware, grateful and gracious.

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldnā€™t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought weā€™d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
