A Luv Story Born Through “Friendster”

We met online through “Friendster” back in May 2007.

Jun (Renante) sent a friend request to me (Anna).

We started communicating through private messages and phone calls.

We hit it off right away.

We decided to meet in person on July 11, 2007.

Had our first dinner at a steakhouse at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino

and went to Lake Tahoe for a day.

We have been together since then.

We didn’t expect the relationship to last

but we somehow managed despite the long distance set up.

Jun is from Sacramento and I’m from Reno which is about 2 ½ hours’ drive.

We take turns travelling to each other’s place.

Everything was going well; our families get along very well.

However,

towards the end of 2013, that’s when the big challenges came,

something happened that broke us apart and ended our relationship.

Mistakes committed; forgiveness given.

We moved on.

Then in 2015, we got back together and got engaged.

We planned to marry on our 10th year which was July 2017.

But, 3 months prior to the wedding date,

another blow to our relationship and we called off the wedding.

This was too much to take and for me personally, I gave up.

Renante, bless his heart, continued and persevered.

A lot of thinking and a lot of consideration for so many things,

eventually,

the final decision is that we still love each other

and want to give this relationship another try.

This time,

we just want to elope and enjoy each other in beautiful Hawaii.

We enjoy travelling together and we love to eat and try things out.

Our love for family comes first.

We understand each other so well because we take care of our extended families.

Our goal is to continue travelling here in the US and other countries.

We like to go camping and bring our trailer to different places.

We aspire to support each other until we grow old…

Then support each other even more

😉

A Luv Story Blessing Born Through “Friendster”

Meeting online is a wise way to go… Besides,

How many countless eons and Beers would it take

to find your True Love in a Bar

:-O

We are in this life to learn and grow,

Life is never a completely easy Path to stride along…

It has challenges that we must face to learn and grow from.

“They” say…

If you love something… Let it go.

If it comes back to you, it was meant to be.

Challenges that were too much endure in 2013, were transcended

and a deeper love was reborn… it was meant to be

and in 2015 you gave it another shot!

Life is full of challenges that tend to creep up on us when we least expect it.

Challenges that rock us to the core and leave us with a feeling that

we just don’t have what it takes to overcome them.

But through it all, you both realized

whatever challenges that interrupted your wedding plans in 2017

had nothing to do with the love you truly felt for each other.

Soulmates have this irresistible drive

to stick together thru thick & thin times…

The ineffable concept of Soulmates paints the picture that feels like

countless lifetimes must have been shared together,

also,

thru thick & thin times… Sharing a love

that transcends the veil of our perceptions,

continuously striving to reunite forevermore.

It is a ‘Great Mystery’ how the Divinity of Life unfolds…

And it may seem that, by the Grace of a Higher Power

that those that are destined to be together, find each other

time after time, life after life.

The attraction of Soulmates is an unstoppable force.

We are attracted to the True Nature of the Being

that we feel we must have Loved before.

The challenges we face in this life,

are often caused by us not knowing

our own True Self, our True Nature of Being.

We often mistake our egos and emotions to be who we really are.

Those pesky egos and emotions

can certainly cause the derailment of True Love.

The attraction of the True Love of Soulmates helps us Transcend

the mistaken identity of our True Nature of Being

with our egos and emotions.

When one mate is caught up in reactionary responses

that leap from our egos,

The other mate is capable of seeing the other’s True Nature of Being…

“Namaste”… as they say..

Realize your True Self, your True Nature of Being.

Don’t let those pesky egos and emotions affect the course of your Love Boat.

Egos can be like “the tail that wags the dog”.

We are much more than our egos…

Yet,

transcending those challenges will bring us Divine Wisdoms.

Wisdoms that will make growing old together a Blissful experience.

Enjoy trailering your love to the sacred places only found in nature.

Eternal Maui Marital Bliss

is as easy as simply enjoying the ever-present moment.

Don’t pine about the past… nor fret about the future.

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
