A Luv Story Born of Spirit, Astronomy & Science

We’re not religious, at all.

We are both into astronomy and science.

Justin and Diana had known each other for several years.

Justin had moved to Nashville and when he decided to

move back to San Antonio … he dropped Diana a line.

She was going to see Deadpool

during its Valentine’s weekend opening with a few friends,

so Justin invited himself and tagged along.

On Valentine’s Day.

Afterward,

he asked Diana if she wanted to catch up over coffee,

but as it so often goes with oblivious people,

Diana had no idea it would be a date.

Justin came up with a few “choose your own adventure” options

for things they would do on their first date.

They settled on trivia and coffee, then

an adventure to dive bars they had never visited.

And every day since has been a new adventure.

We both think having a positive attitude

and trying new things is important.

And we both think you have to work for what you have –

in life, careers, and relationships.

A Luv Story Blessing Born Blessing of Spirit, Astronomy & Science

Perhaps Justin was hearing too many love songs in Nashville

that made his heart do a wee bit of ‘soul searching’,

something Within was calling him home to where his heart is,

and towards a love and life that awaits there in Texas…

What inspires such ‘seeking’?

 Well, again, Science

is beginning to unravel the mystery of synchronicity.

On a very subtle sub-atomic level, they postulate,

that there is a common thread that links all things

and connects us all from the Ground of our Being

like an Ocean of Consciousness

Einstein’s lab partner Dr Bon postulated his

‘Holographic Universe’ theory decades ago,

Now other scientists are fine tuning the details

with more discovered facts.

However,

Albert Einstein stated:

The more I learn, the more I know.

The more I know, the more I know that I really don’t know…

ya know…

The only thing worse than ignorance is

Confidently thinking one knows the absolute Truth

When they are woefully mistaken.

There is no chance at growth when one gives up… growing.

You are both on the ‘Right Track’ as revealed in your Luv Story.

Having the positive attitude of – ‘Right View’

Is the base of all our thoughts, speech and actions.

Inquire your thoughts,

“Are my thoughts ones of unconditional love?”

Or

are they born of our reactive egos and emotions?

With these Mindful Perspectives,

Harmful or Unproductive speech and actions won’t even happen.

Also spot on in your Luv Story –

You are both inspired to make the ‘Right Effort’

To overcome any challenges and make a life that is fulfilling.

May you both fully realize the perfection in each and every moment

In that way, you will enjoy Eternal Maui Marital Bliss.

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
