Our Story – Nearly 35 years ago Boyd was in the Navy…
I was newly hired at the shipyard.
I had just met new friends that invited me out to a sports bar…
I was reluctant to go and even called my friends to say …
“nah… Think I’m going to stay home”. Well…
I Ended up going… and as we were being seated…
I noticed this very handsome navy guy…
then to my amazement…I was seated right in front of him.
We began to talk and laugh and joke around…when my friend Kim said
she was going to bust a move on him…my heart sank.
Now the funny part…
just as my friend was getting ready to make her move,
Boyd got up to get a drink…as he did, he asked me to save his place
and gently touched my shoulder… (ohhooo)
I knew at that exact moment Boyd was my soul mate.
Later…I think we both were so overwhelmed
that we failed to exchange numbers…
and I had no idea how to contact him on a ship…
to my amazement Boyd had left his jacket at my apartment…
as I went through the pockets, I found a match book with his ships number…
I found him, the love of my life, a dream come true, my soul mate, my love.
Fate has been on our side.
Our life has been full of joy and eternal dedication.
Finally, I can marry my love, my best friend, my life.

Or are you just glad to sea me…”
Perhaps Boyd replied:
“Loose lips sink ships…
so pucker up land lubber, don’t ask & I won’t tell” 
Ok,
I’ll do a “full stop”
but both heart’s guidance systems locked onto True Love
and your Love Boat has been sailin’ a True course ever since.
And now after 35 years still on course & steady as she goes…
