I used to be Christian… born, raised, even catechism’d…
What stuck me odd was their insistence that myth, magic, and miracles…
Were to be taken as the absolute ‘Literal’ “truth”…
Most non-theological common sense spiritual traditions
use various ‘stories’ as metaphors
to help explain in the ineffable nature of “Such” Divine themes.
There are very good reasons why the most
highly educated, evolved humans
don’t believe in imaginary sky god religions… ‘theologies’.
Philosophers and psychologists point out that:
People are drawn to particular theologies or
non-theological spiritual traditions
base on their level of psychological human growth… or evolvement.
As a youngster when I asked:
“Is there an adult version of these mythic and magical stories?…
they seem to be so importance that surly there must be more to it all”…
The angry nun escorted me to the head nun’s office…
There was absolutely no loving kindness there.
Within 30 minutes,
my mom was summoned and arrived to pick up my worthless soul

I’ve been grateful for that liberation the rest of my life.
I studied every ‘theology’ I could.
Noticing they all had a common theme of
worshiping a made up ‘sky god’ that they created
to fill in their projections of what such a ‘god’ would be,
and used this god as a way of dividing humanity
and justify disenfranchisement, biases, prejudices and…
wars.
All fighting over which religion was more loving and compassionate.
These misogynistic men created all this when they all thought:
Women had no rights; they were property of the man.
Slavery was perfectly normal.
They didn’t know where the sun went at night.
Thought the entire universe egotistically
revolved around “god’s” chosen planet.
Over the millennia…
they tortured to death the smartest academics of the time
if they dared proved the obvious.
They put Galileo in prison, then house arrest
and forbid him to look into his own invention
while the pope was buying his latest telescope versions.
Can you say….
Hypocrites?
In the good ‘ol dark ages,
the Christians tortured to death in the most hideous unholy ways
over 100 million innocent people in the name of their
“all loving prolife god”.
To this day I’ve asked at least 100 people
how they can legitimize and normalize these atrocities.
None could offer a sensible answer.
Many said:
“Oh, but we don’t do that anymore” …
Which is like:
Well…
Hitler doesn’t do genocide anymore…
So should we continue to worship him and perpetuate his policies?!?!?!
The church told me to have ‘faith’…
They said the more irrational and absurd the thing they teach
must be believed…
The more irrational and absurd… the stronger your ‘faith’ is.
This nonsense has indelibly created
a large percentage of our population
to naturally stop using individual critical thinking…
All of this nonsense is fine…
We have the freedumb to believe anything we wish…
All while they’ve abandoned critical thinking and
have a very child like naive projection of “god”…
They all go around with a self-righteous cloud of arrogance over the
non-duped… non-believers…
While they never lift a finger to actually do
the higher spiritual practices of
Self-Inquiry.
Insight meditations.
Nor do they study and practice the spiritual philosophies
and balance psychological perspectives that will
‘Liberate’ them from the pain and suffering
that we all inherently struggle with…
Nor,
Do they make the lest bit of effort to understand what “God” really is
by taking all these spiritual steps and becoming
‘One with God’… or Grace or Divinity…
And
Experientially learning…
You are God…
then instantly you learn…
There is no ‘self’… and there is no ‘God’.
There is only the ever-present Awareness of Pure Consciousness
in a non-dual inseparable Unity with what most call ‘God’…
but way beyond the child like naive projections of archaic men…
even though is all boils down to simply…
Love.
No!
They seem to lazy to earnestly aspire to True Grace and Divinity…
Their religion demands that they simply take someone’s word for it .
Which they do, and then act so superior to everyone else…
They even act superior to other denominations…
Then
Instead of uniting all of “Gods” children…
They look for way to divide and disenfranchise…
Until wars are started.
Most of the wars humanity has endured were fought for some
imaginary “all loving pro-life” ‘god’.
But,
Now that they’ve banned together to create
a Christian nationalistic nation…
The rest of us are now under their control and whim.
Women have lost their freedom of choice for their own bodies…
And
The endless stream of unholy, unmoral things that they are now
legitimizing and normalizing is beyond comprehension.
They all,
ignorantly or sadistically
support everything opposite of what “Jesus” is said to stand for.
They now have no problem with:
Raping women in department stores
Having sex with porn stars
when their wives are pregnant with their own child.
Now… !!!!
They are legitimizing and normalizing pedophilia…
And our Christian demagogue politicians are actually
praying to “god” live on TV broadcasts to help them
save their leader from pedophilia charges…
for Christ sakes!

I was really into the bible stories as a kid…
The empathy, compassion, unconditional love,
the healing, walking on water…
But,
Even at an early age I knew that harming someone was wrong.
Killing someone was more… wrong.
Torturing someone to death was even more wrong.
Why hardly any other Christians stop to think…
If they were wrong about all those atrocities….
WHAT ELSE ARE THEY WRONG ABOUT?!?!?
The answer is….
EVERYTHING!
