A Luv Story Blessing – that is Still Lucky in Love

After nine years and still feel ‘Lucky and in Love’.

Overcoming very ‘delicate surgery procedures’

brings one’s focus acutely to how precious life is.

When life shows it’s hand…

It’s a sure bet that Each and Every moment is precious.

Life can come and go… But

this ever-present moment is infinitely forever.

These Luv Birdz are naturally Sea Hawk fans

Having known each other now for over 9 years

proves you’ve passed one of the most critical tests of love…

the dreaded 7-year itch

😮

Sure,

everything has its ups & downs…

Yet life is Always Already Alright… and perfect;

Despite it’s ‘Divine Imperfections’.

Each challenge we face is

a door towards Transcendence for our human and Spiritual growth.

We all start life at the same ground zero…

Then we strive to evolve along those paths.

Due perhaps to ignorance and a lack of inspiration

A dreadful amount of folks soon reaches their ‘station in life’

along their personal evolution…

Long before they had a chance to get

a balanced psychological perspective of themselves.

They don’t even know themselves, but in a relationship,

they imagine quite strongly what “they” expect from the other.

It’s like the blind leading the blind…

Ego driven, narcissistic confusion and unwilling to change.

It’s those lucky ones that do seek professional counseling,

You have gain wisdoms that will help you in every step of life

Forevermore spiraling towards perfection.

That ‘one near death experience’ tends to create life changes…

To Transcend that experience and come out alive…

Seems to open a door towards being more

gracious, grateful and able to

BE in the now moment with a calm feeling of Bliss…

Or at least a feeling that everything is as it should be.

There is a sort of Cosmic ‘Way’

in which we are all connected to all that ‘Is’.

Far subtler than subatomic matter lies

‘the Ground of our Being’.

Just as every cell has atoms, each part of us is made up of cells,

each larger part of us includes all the smaller parts within it

in an inseparable manner…

In the smallest sub atomic parts of “Us”…

Is somewhere near where the ‘Ground of our Being’ is…

And at this boundlessly infinite space,

is the inseparable connection to everything.

Fortunately,

Soul-Mates find this connection intrinsically…

‘by heart’

😉

It’s something like a personal ‘Namaste’ Awareness for each other…

Each sees the beauty of each other from

the ‘Ground of their Being’.

Life itself is perfect when seen from the perspective of

open spacious accepting unconditional love.

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
