We first met when we started working at a brewery when we were 15 (1995)
We both were in love with each other but never asked each other out
or even said anything to each other.
We lost touch for a while and through the years there were several missed opportunities.
In 2008 he started working at new flyer (where I had been working for a few years)
he came and said hi to me when he realized I was working there
but we were both in relationships at the time.
Still a few years went by and neither of us mentioned our feelings for each other.
Finally in 2016 after I had been dumped, he messaged me on Facebook
and told me he had loved me all these years and we’ve been together since.
We are both annoyed that we lost all those years that we could’ve been together,
but we are happy to finally be together.
We would’ve been totally happy getting married in a courthouse
but we decided we wanted it to be really special and do it in Hawaii.
