A Luv Story Born Through the Window of His Soul

We met on match. Com.

For 5 months we spoke every evening.

When we met face to face,

it was magical chemistry.

His eyes, the windows to his soul.

Joe says he loves my smile.

The toughest part was

getting through the volatile teens of our youngest,

who thought her world was interrupted by stepdad.

Today she shows appreciation to him.

Today she is 26, and thankful.

Our strength comes from our lord Jesus.

Faith hope and love.

We maintain respect, communication and trust.

Trust in God.

With him there are no impossibilities.

A Luv Story Blessing Born Through the Window of His Soul

Meeting online is a very sensible way to go…Besides,

how many countless beers and eons would it take

to finally meet at a bar

:-O

Connecting with each other 5 months before even meeting,

certainly opened the doors to love from a Deep sensible depth,

a love was formed in the Truest fashion, and not just a physical attraction

that tends to fade away like a new toy that gets old…

Soulmates have this unwavering attraction…

The eyes are indeed the lens into one’s Soul…

The eyes never lie.

The smile from a Soulmate has this calm abiding effect

that instantly makes sense of an otherwise senseless world.

We are all here for Divine reasons to learn and grow.

Not all the lessons make sense to us, nor are they easy to overcome…

If there were no hard challenges, and everything was easy…

We’d be in Heaven.

All the Ups and Downs of life come from the Divine,

The bigger the challenge, the bigger the Transcendence

and the closer we become to our True Divine Nature.

I too went thru the ‘stepdad’ experience…

Even though I met my stepdaughter when she was only 5,

There had been a disconnect at times,

especially the volatile teen years.

Over the years

I’ve learned that you can’t really tell someone how to feel…

One can only give them their sacred space and radiate loving kindness.

With time and lots of unconditional

 Love, Joy, Equanimity and Compassion…

Healing will happen, in its own way and in its own time.

Every Soul created strives to become closer to a part of life

that we all feel must be bigger than we can empirically perceive.

We all have this Divinity within us, a Christ Consciousness

that we feel from the Ground of our Being.

The challenges we’ll face

that are just around the bend of our perception

May cloud our Divine connection… Yet, with

Faith Hope and Love, we will

confidently Transcend those challenges with Grace and a Smile

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
