A Luv Story That Will Never End

We have a story that will never end.
we met and immediately knew we were destined to be
a part of each other’s life forever. God had a plan.

I had moved to Florida from WV with 3 small children
to begin a new life.
Never did I think walking into a carpet store to purchase carpet
would change my life.
We connected almost immediately.
After just a few short months he asked me to marry him
and promised to be the best father to my children he could possibly be…
and that he has been.

Joe has no biological children,
but my two sons quickly became his.
He IS their dad and raised them to be the best two young men.
He loves them unconditionally…
And is the best man, dad and grandfather I could have asked for.
God had a plan…
for mine and my children’s life …

There have been many ups, downs, challenges, joy, and heartache
but we always find our way back to one another.
Divorce couldn’t even separate us or destroy our love for one another.
We spent 6 years trying to move on,
but God wouldn’t allow it.

We could never be in another relationship in all those years.
We always continued to spend all our time together.
Finally,
this past November I moved back in with Joe.

Through the tragic loss of our son, Nick, last month,
I now see why God knew we belonged together.
He knew we would need each other…
need to lean on one another…draw closer…
and our love is carrying us through.

It has brought us closer than ever before.
This time our love is stronger than ever!
When Joe wraps me in his strong arms,
I feel safe and secure from all the world.

We are now in the “empty nest” phase of our lives
and more in tune and in love with one another than ever.
We are a forever couple.
Infinity …

God works in mysterious ways…
Perhaps that’s why the common reference –
‘The Great Mystery’
Is a concept us mere mortals place on the ways of the Divine
that is beyond our comprehension.
Yet the Grace that makes it all work, is always a Blessing…
Whether we recognize it right away or not.

My favorite enlightened sage famously stated:
“Everything that has happened… Had to.”

A Luv Story Blessing – That Will Never End

you may not have realized that Grace was Blessing you…
After enduring a life
that presented the need to start a new life in Florida.
Whatever you paid for that carpet,
turned out to be the best deal one can find in life!
A True Love that has outlasted that fine durable carpet
😉
Along with Divine Blessings…
there are also Divine challenges.
We are here for a reason… to learn and grow…
and our Path was never meant to be a ‘walk in the park’.
We all face challenges, some of these rock us to the core
and even crack our foundation.
At first,
some of these challenges may seem like
they are more than we can handle.
But once we’ve pushed thru and overcame them,
The transcendence leads us to a stronger character…
Where fear is replaced by confidence
and the anxieties of the unknowing uncertainties
that a frightful future may bring…
Is replaced by the calm abiding in the contentment of
the ever-present moment.

In the classic statement:
If you love something… Let it go.
If it comes back… It was meant to be.
And by Divine Grace your True Love came back…
Actually, it never went away.
For the True Love of a Soulmate, is:
Always Already Alright!

The lessons of a lot of challenges in this life
will perhaps always remain a mystery.
Yet,
One must have unwavering Faith,
that God’s plan had a Higher Calling for Nick.
All we can know, is this ‘Life’,
that seems so real and permanent…
is just a Path for us to learn and grow…
When God sees that we have learned what we need to…
It’s time to Graduate to our Divine Higher Calling.

We are Eternal Beings,
the Eternal part of us never dies…
We just Graduate closer to the Divine.
For most of us moral beings…
It’s enough to vaguely know that….
Everything is Always Already Alright.

For those that have a deeper curiosity…
Our Divine True Nature can be ‘Realized’ and liberate us from
the pain & suffering born of the naive ignorance we mislead ourselves
to create a false self… an ego mind body.
This misperception of our ‘self’ as an ego mind body…
It not who we truly are.

An imaginary ‘self’ that is born and suffers until death
with a cycle of mistaken happiness and devastating sadness.
Becoming ‘Self’ Realized…
the understanding of our True Divine Nature
allows us to abide the Blissful nature that all others must
wait until death and presumably go to an imaginary place called…
“Heaven”.
It can be Heaven right here on Earth.

Once we are ‘Enlightened’ to these Wordless Wisdoms…
It all becomes very, very simple.
So simple, that once you are ‘Realized’…
you wonder how you missed it your whole life.
But…
Until one hears the calling,
one must enure the bumps along the road of life
and just settle for ‘faith’ alone.

Having the experience of transcending so many of Life’s lessons…
Blesses you both with the Wisdoms of Life that are never easily gained.
Your Love has earned an appreciation and gratitude that is priceless.
You will indeed enjoy Eternal Marital Bliss… Because,
through your experiences you’ve gained deep Wisdoms
that will truly allow you to be fully content in the ever-present moment…
A moment that will carry your Love forevermore… & more.

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
