The Processes of Brainwashing… and the Antidote

It’s amazing what brainwashing does when the government uses

techniques that are similar to military grade psyops to use the

demagogue Ultra Reich Wing media to manipulate the mentally vulnerable…

but that’s no excuse!

They are willfully ignorant, willfully brainwashed!

No amount of Shame even registers in their perspective.

Facts, Logic, Reasons, Morals, Virtues, raping children, shooting mothers in the face …

These are the essential aspects of humanity that are required to at least sustain our survival.

Yet,

half the country is completely oblivious to reality!

I’m learning a lot about the psychology of what’s going on with the brainwashing process that’s being inflicted on the mentally vulnerable masses of our once reasonable country.

The brainwashing process begins when demagogue politicians lie and promote absolute bull shit rebranded it as the truth.

They weaponize the strongest emotion… ‘fear’ to replace

rational objective critical thinking.

Then,

This BS is perpetuated by the countless ultra Reich Wing propaganda media outlets

that makes billions off the mentally vulnerable conservative ducwadz each year.

Once this brainwashing process begins, cognitive dissonance kicks in.

That’s where the rational subconscious mind creates an awkward condition of dissonance with your conscious ego thinking mind.

The ego is what most people allow to rule their thinking process.

In order to alleviate this dissonance, they then spend all ‘thingking’ hours

Rationalizing, normalizing and legitimizing why raping children and shooting mother in the face is quite all right and a small justifiably small price to pay for supporting their political party.

Despicable!

And there is No excuse really…

But then it even gets worse!

This brain washing process soon starts affecting the biological parts of the body…

Particularly the parts involved in the thinking brain systems.

The amygdala for example controls the thinking process of emotions

and it has the ability to cut off critical thinking.

and then it even gets worse…

the frontal lobe begins to get hardwired so

rational thinking, critical objective thinking is completely bypassed

and they just revert to the one or two syllable messages

that have been brainwashed into their peee for brains.

Half of our country should be wearing straight jackets in a mental institution

with padded cells!

They certainly shouldn’t be mingling with the rest of society, driving cars or voting!

What a catastrophe our country has become because of this toxic mess.

The amygdala is the brain’s emotional sentinel.

It acts as a processing hub that assigns emotional significance to sensory input,

helping you navigate your environment

by identifying what is beneficial or dangerous.

Core Functions

Threat Detection:

It continuously scans for danger

and triggers the fight-or-flight response via the hypothalamus.

Fear Conditioning:

It creates associations between neutral stimuli and scary events,

teaching you what to avoid in the future.

Memory Reinforcement:

It works with the hippocampus to “tag” memories with high emotional intensity,

making them easier to recall.

Social Intelligence:

It helps interpret facial expressions and social cues,

such as sensing if someone is untrustworthy…

or a “lib-tard”, “Woke”, or some scary person that really cares about all of humanity

How It Operates

When you see a threat (like a snake), the information takes two paths:

The “Low Road”: A direct, lightning-fast signal from the thalamus to the amygdala for an immediate reflex.

The “High Road”: A slower signal through the cortex for a conscious evaluation of whether the threat is real.

what are the effects of the amygdala when someone who is brainwashed politically

In a politically brainwashed state, the amygdala undergoes a process known as emotional hijacking, where its response to perceived threats becomes hyper-sensitive and chronic.

Key Effects

Hyper-Responsivity: The amygdala becomes overactive, causing the brain to perceive different political opinions as direct threats to personal safety. This triggers a constant state of fight-or-flight.

Reduced Critical Thinking: Intense amygdala activation can “bypass” the prefrontal cortex—the area responsible for logic and reasoning. This makes it difficult for an individual to process contradictory evidence or think independently.

Heightened Fear and Anxiety: Propaganda often uses “fear-mongering” to keep the amygdala in a state of alarm, reinforcing a person’s reliance on their “protective” group or leader.

Enhanced Bias: The amygdala “tags” out-group members (political opponents) as dangerous, which strengthens implicit biases and makes social cooperation nearly impossible.

MemoryNuanced emotional recall“Fear-tagged” memories of opponents

To “retrain” the brain after amygdala-heavy influence,

you must strengthen the Prefrontal Cortex (PFC)—

the area responsible for logic, impulse control, and critical thinking.

This process, called neuroplasticity,

physically builds stronger neural pathways between the logic and emotion centers.

1. Labeling (Affect Labeling)

When you feel a strong emotional reaction, put it into words.

Say,

“I am feeling angry” or “I feel threatened.”

Why it works:

This requires language, which is a PFC function.

It forces the brain to shift energy away from the amygdala

and back to the rational centers.

2. Cognitive Reappraisal

Challenge the “threat” by asking logical questions:

“Is this person actually a physical danger to me?”

“What evidence contradicts what I just heard?”

Why it works:

This activates the “High Road” of processing,

allowing the cortex to override the amygdala’s automatic fear response.

3. Mindfulness and Breathing

Engage in “box breathing”

(inhale 4s, hold 4s, exhale 4s, hold 4s).

Why it works:

Deep breathing stimulates the vagus nerve,

signaling the nervous system to exit the “fight-or-flight” state.

This lowers amygdala activity so the PFC can resume control.

4. Analytical Challenges

Engage in activities that demand pure logic, such as:

Math problems:

Solve a quick multiplication in your head when stressed.

Puzzles:

Sudoku, crosswords, or strategy games.

New Skills:

Learning a language or instrument forces the PFC to build new, complex connections.

I’ve created a “Red Flag” checklist for you.

It highlights the high-intensity verbs, emotional labels, and fear-inducing phrases commonly used to trigger the amygdala and bypass logical thinking.

You can use this as a quick reference when you’re reading the news or scrolling through social media to help you stay in “logic mode.”

Psychological brainwashing, or coercive persuasion,

involves systematically breaking down a person’s identity

to replace their values with a specific ideology.

It typically follows a three-stage process:

Unfreezing:

The individual is isolated and subjected to physical or emotional stress

to dismantle their current belief system and sense of self.

Changing:

Through repetitive indoctrination and social pressure,

new “truths” are introduced while the person is in a vulnerable state.

Refreezing:

The new identity is reinforced through rewards for compliance

and punishment for doubt, cementing the new worldview.

If a person is brainwashed how do you cure that brainwashing and make them get them to back to reality?

“Curing” brainwashing—

often called deprogramming or exit counseling—

is a delicate, long-term process focused on

restoring an individual’s critical thinking and autonomy.

Key Steps to Recovery

Establish Safety and Rapport:

Avoid direct attacks on their beliefs,

which usually triggers “identity defense.”

Instead,

focus on maintaining a non-judgmental, loving connection.

Encourage Critical Thinking:

Ask open-ended questions that lead them to discover inconsistencies themselves.

This helps “re-thaw” the analytical mind.

Remove Isolation:

Gently reintroduce them to diverse perspectives and old friends

who predate the influence to ground them in their original identity.

Professional Intervention:

Consult specialists who understand cult dynamics or coercive control

to navigate the psychological “triggers” that keep the person bound to the ideology.

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
