Our story begins oddly enough at a Best Buy store, where I was shopping.
I saw her big beautiful eyes and blonde hair, and I could not stop admiring her
as she continued to assist me with my purchase.
Nadine asked me an odd question, in which I replied,
“because women like you are always taken”.

From there,
a courtship ensued where I immediately asked for her number.
After speaking with her a number of times on the phone,
I found out we were in search of the right partner in life.
I continued to court her to include visiting her at work
during her breaks and lunches.
No phone call was too short, yet
no visit was long enough.

Weeks passed, which seemed like years.
On one of her lunches, we were in the parking lot.
As I was preparing to leave and receive a hug goodbye,
it happened!
Our first kiss!
Wait for it!
Here comes the token cliché!
Time stopped,
and we were the only 2 people in that vast parking lot.
Here is where it’s not a cliché.
As my lips touched hers,
I felt a warmth radiate inside of me originating from my heart.
It was then, I knew I had found a life in the world of forever.
I prayed a long and hard to find her,
and God provided so graciously.

Nadine and I have kids from past relationships.
Although my kids were older and out discovering their lives in Los Angeles,
we still provided for her 3 kids, whom she had shared custody.
We went from an apartment to a house quickly
and enjoyed the challenges ahead.
However,
the responsibilities of raising children together came easily for both of us,
and we continued our romance at the same time.
We supported our kids’ interest,
while we spent our leisure time with camping, traveling,
and weekend excursions, which ultimately involved
our kids in participation as well.
That being said,
we had our share of challenges just as much as the next blended family.
As a family,
we shared the same challenges from personality growth and economic challenges,
just to name a couple.
But fewer challenges faced us that would break our commitment to each other
as God put us together to face them head on.
We did fall complacent (probably more me, than her).
Although we were committed to each other,
we had not stood in front of a clergy to solidify our commitment
in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who brought us together.
Don’t get me wrong,
we are not the typical church going couple by any means.
However,
we have a healthy, yet personal relationship with God.
We pray, we mourn, and we celebrate in his name. And,
we repent as we were taught as children.
We chose to elope because,
throughout these past 6 years, it’s been us together through it all.
Our love is very personal to us.
We both strive to continue our love, not in our definition,
but how God defines love.
“He shows us that instead of wanting to be first,
we must be willing to be last.
Instead of wanting to be served, we must serve.
Instead of trying to save our lives, we must lose them.
We must love our spouse as much as we love ourselves.
In short,
if we want to defeat selfishness,
we must give up, give in, and give all”.
Both of us have visited Hawaii in the past, but other islands.
Maui was our island.
It’s only fitting that we solidify our further commitment to each other
where we adventured together.
Sincerely, Nadine & Ceazar

A Luv Story Blessing – Born at Best Buy
When Ceazar went to Best Buy… he had no idea that
God had an extra bonus item for his shopping list.
True Love came with the Divine Blessings of Grace…
And a Lifetime warranty.
When one does go forth in this Bliss of Love…
The fine print of that ‘warranty’ will eventually come to bare…
There is Divinity in both Good things… and even the challenges.
Life is Perfectly Divine…
but God didn’t put us here for it to be without it’s challenges….
We are here to learn, grow and Transcend …
“Heaven” is the goal of every soul,
once we’ve learned the morals, virtues and Grace…
Through our challenges, we learn appreciation and humbleness.
Through unconditional love
we learn that it really is better to give and receive.

It’s good that you aren’t ‘typical church people’…
God created individual Souls
that are best fulfilled by their Unique creativity
that manifests spontaneously from their very own inspirations.
Fear based traditions based on guilt trips that follow blindly like sheep…
Do not inspire the True heartfelt connection
to the Christ consciousness within each Heart and Soul.
Faith is not a guilt trip… It’s Journey of Spirit.
You are on the right track with the right perspectives that are
in tune with all the Sacred Spiritual practices…
Putting other’s need before yours, love all others as we love ourselves…
It’s a very ‘Zenfull’ perspective to take on challenges head on,
As opposed to aversion and denial.
Defeating selfishness and the many egos supporting such non-virtuous identities
Is indeed at the top of the list of Enlightened thoughts and actions.

As children we were taught to repent,
As we grow more Blessed, we can now simply be Mindful of our actions…
Clearing the karmic and emotional traces of wrong actions
before they even happen.
Life is Divinely Perfect, even with its ups & downs…
The adventure of life and the Grace of prosperity
is meant to be shared with…
your True Love.

Maui is a fitting place to get Maui’d…
Enjoy the Adventure of life…
And
Like a ripple of the pond of life,
Your example of Unconditional Love
will spread like a building wave of love.
Long after your Adventure here has Transcended to wherever you go…
You children’s children…
will continue to build upon that ripple of love you created…
Thus,
making this world a better place forevermore.
