All Of Us Continue As Energy

“Zenfully Quool Quotes”
By Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh

I often tell a story from the Bible, from the book of Luke,
about two disciples traveling to Emmaus after Jesus had died.
They met a man along the road and began to talk and walk with him.
After some time, they stopped at an inn to eat.
When the two disciples observed the way the man broke the bread
and poured the wine, they recognized Jesus.

This story teaches that even Jesus
is not to be found only in his physical body.
His living reality extends far beyond his physical body.

Jesus was fully present in the way the bread was broken
and in the way the wine was poured.
That is the living Christ.
That is why he can say,
“Where two or three gather in my name,
there am I among them.”

It is not only Jesus or the Buddha
or any other great spiritual teacher
who is with us after their death;
all of us continue as energy
long after our physical body has changed form.

rog note:
Regardless of whether one believes Jesus ever really lived
or was just a character that embodied the teachings of
the Christian mystics that indeed learned
the Universal Divine Wisdoms
through their experience with Divinity
which they expressed and taught others without the need
to use imaginary myths, magic, and miracles…
that organized religions use to distort the True meanings of Divinity
for their own particular agendas.

It is through the Grace of these experientially learned Wisdoms
that forms an everlasting impression on those that
have had the chance to be in their presents.
This is called Spiritual ‘Transmissions’
when one receives profound inspiration from a Spiritual Master
just by being in their presence.

The teachings of these early Christian mystics were in harmony
with all other Spiritual devotees that based their Divine Wisdoms on
the direct experience through the silence of the mind…

It is said by St. John of the Cross and Father Thomas Keaton and Rumi that:
The language ‘God’ speaks is silence.
When one abides long enough in this Divine silence…
The natural flow of Grace will eventually Enlighten the aspirant
to the Divine Wisdoms that are universally experienced
by those with the volition to engage with the right effort
from any traditional perspective.

In other words,
Most religions will have you mis-believe that
there is only one way to ‘Divinity’…
And that’s their way.

This is a key metric to have confidence that a Spiritual teacher
is offering real and useful guidance
or
is misleading you ether by choice or their own ignorance.
Having a very strong, unwavering mis-belief
does not change a made up belief to a provable known fact.

~
All True Spiritual Masters from any geographically located tradition
will point towards the same, one and only Divinity…
from their unique perspectives.
Like the spokes of a wheel…
They all point towards the indivisible center.

~

The use of distracting
dogmas, doctrines, myths, magic, and miracles
only creates a roadblock or dead end
to pursing the experience of True Divinity.

Find those teachers, gurus, Masters, Rinpoche’s, Swamis,
Ajahns, spiritual friends and helpers along the Path of life…
Each lesson learned is one step closer to
the Ultimate Fruition of Spirit.

The spiritual energy that you absorb

will radiate out to others forever more…
Long after your body dissolves…
That energy will continue on.

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
