Met is High School, 1975, walked into the school with my Mom. He was walking down the hall with the principle Mr. Peterson, he introduced us, he smiled shyly, his smile was amazing, I couldn’t have a boyfriend until I was 16 so, I was 15 and when I turned 16 we were ‘the IT’ couple of Sullivan High School, Captain of the football team and I was the Captain of cheerleaders.
Gerald was a year ahead. He graduated went to University of Michigan. I visited often. I graduated the following year went to DePaul University and we continued to date. After a few more years we started drifting in different directions. After College he enlisted in the Marines.
We eventually lost contact. I relocated and got married, so did Gerald. We reunited after 35 years, he found me on Facebook, we both were single available and once again found ourselves comfortable in one another’s company. Gerald said I’ve been looking for you, the woman of my dreams, I’ve never stopped loving you.
In Awe, he asked “what do you want”. I shared my heart openly, he said
I will love, cherish and be with you forever, the proposal came, full circle love.
We were meant to be reunited. My forever LOVE!
Our goals as a couple is to LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH the rest of our days!
We love the lord and are loving compassionate, giving souls.
