Zenfully Quool Quotes by Thich Nhat Hanh.
It is the same for a father and son, or a mother and daughter.
When a father looks at his son with the eyes of signlessness,
he sees that his son is also himself.
He is the father, but he is also the son.
When a father looks like that,
he can see his body outside his body.
When the child looks at his father
and sees himself in his father,
he sees his body outside his body.
When looking at our children or grandchildren,
we see ourselves,
and we begin to see our body outside this body.

The term:
Namaste
Essentially means:
That one can see themselves in others…
Or,
The eternal True Nature of each other
is inseparable from what appears to be
separate beings.
We can acknowledge that:
Our ego do not like their ego…
But at least ‘we’ have a common connection
knowing that ultimately…
‘we’ are inseparable from all others…
And all that is.
This is Non-duality.
To take this essential meaning further…
It becomes the metric on which one’s
psychological human developmental growth
can be measured.
The ability to relate to another person’s perspective
is the metric of how spiritually evolved one is.
Taken further,
the ability to take multiple perspectives into consideration
is even more evolved.
Taken even further,
for whole societies to take into mindful consideration
other society’s perspectives with loving kindness…
is even more evolved.
This is the key element required for humanity to someday live…
Intelligently.
At that point,
we would move from a life of deficiencies…
To a life of abundance, as Maslow points out.
The goal for each member of humanity should be:
To find that commonality between all of us,
and
recognize with respect the strength of our collective diversities.
But,
This goes heavily against how our egos tell us to behave.
Most of us are a slave to our egos…
Powerless to integrate critical thinking beyond our narcissistic concerns.
Religions and politics
reinforce this self defeating character flaw.
In Spirituality,
the contemplation of our True Self is pursued until
the fullest fruition of ‘the Path’.
Once Enlightened,
there becomes a knowing …
Our Self-Realization is then unshakable.
Until then,
most people mistake their true self
to be their ego-mind-bodies.
This mistaken identity is the leading cause of the inherent
pain and suffering caused by this confusion.
