The Myths, Magic, and Miracles in the Bible Should Be Viewed as ‘Metaphors’

Instead of taking the myths, magic, and miracles in Bible as the literal truth,

they would be best viewed as ‘metaphors’ …

Stories that help explain the deeper ineffable meanings of Divinity.

In that way,

one does not have to deal with distractions from a direct Path to divinity.

It is not a sin do so.

Religions that tell you not to pursue your own Spiritual Path

through a personal experience of the Divine,

are only trying to fool you into believing that

only ‘they’ have the one and only path to ‘God’.

This just limits the infiniteness of ‘God’ to only one tiny road to Divinity

which turns out to actually be a dead end road to nowhere.

For each Being born…

There is an individual Path to the Absolute.

Knowing that, as far as Divinity goes…

Who ever ‘we’ are…

the ineffable part of ‘us’ that existed before our body was born

will go on from here.

Our True Nature was never born, nor will never die.

Everything is Always Already Alright.

There will be no judging, no hell…

And all the ‘hierarchies of heaven’

that have been made up by the hand of man…

Those too are just the imaginations of man.

You can know in your heart that our true divine nature

is untouchable by the challenges of this life.

Roll with the four immeasurable noble virtues of

Unconditional Love, Peace, compassion, and equanimity…

And all the morals of honesty and being a kind person…

Let those qualities open the doors

to help create a better existence for all beings…

For we are all the same in the ‘eyes’ of divinity.

We are all inseparable from divinity and all that is.

Be the evolutionary…

When more and more beings start to live with mindful loving kindness,

the world will become a more humane place in which

no one ever goes hungry, and everyone is fulfilled creatively

and becomes an important part of making the human condition better for all.

We have an abundance of resources on this planet right now

for us to have this ‘heaven on Earth’…

but we still tolerate and vote for ego driven demagogue politicians

and greedy corporations to rule. and thus…

humanity is in it’s infancy … or more accurately… in it’s embryonic stage…

We have a long way to go

to get where we should have been millennia ago.

You don’t have to wait until you die and

hope ‘you’ really will go to a make believe place…

We could have Peace on Earth for our Children’s Children’s….

In these last 8 years or so…

Demagogue politicians have done their best

to be the worst for the human condition.

It’s time to start supporting the ones that truly have

the heart, mind and body of all humanity as their compassion

to make this world a better place…

Not just for their own political gain, control and personal profit.

Humanity is at a cross roads.

But our Eternal Being is…

Always Already Alright!

Find your peace…

The Start of 2020

Our business was doing great, but we still couldn’t afford to buy a house or a condo. Renting in Maui for another 30 years was not an option we wanted to take. Then, Bobbie Jo suggested we buy a sailboat that is comfortable to cruise and live in. By the end of January, we started looking for our new home.

After a long search, we found our dream boat in Mazatlan, Mexico. COVID-19 was not yet a concern when our boat hunt began, but masks were starting to appear at airports by the time we flew to Mazatlan. Originally, we had planned to get the boat ready as fast as possible to cover a full calendar for the busy wedding season. However, it was apparent our business was going to tank amid the pandemic, and the struggle went on until the end of the year.

Luckily, we scored an awesome condo for only $19 a day at Mazatlan. On the 10th day of our stay, we received the news that all harbors will be closed the next Monday morning. We thought we’d be stuck in Mexico longer, but another sailor advised us to leave before sunrise.

We felt the adrenalin of escaping the Mexican harbor master just before the sun rose that faithful day. The seas were rough as waves were building up in the tight channel that led us to the open ocean. We ended up anchored off an adorable little isle just a mile offshore. We enjoyed cruising to many spectacular anchorages and cute villages on our way to Puerto Vallarta, where we would depart for Maui on May 7. On May 30, 2020, we completed our 24-day passage from Mexico to Maui.
