We met at a mutual friends Christmas party 11 years ago
through an introduction by Debbie’s friend Terry.
We talked for hours and enjoyed each other’s company and exchanged emails to plan another date.
After a couple of emails back and forth
we were able to set up a date in the New Year
to meet for a couple of drinks.
We had a good time and another dinner date at Debbie’s apartment was scheduled.
At our next date we drank Debbie’s roommate’s Dom Perignon Champagne, ate a pizza and fell in love.
This became our traditional romantic dinner throughout our dating like
Valentine’s Day or New Years Eve and even when
I asked Debbie to marry me,
we had Champagne and pizza after she said YES!
We then spent the next several years dating and traveling/vacationing together
and enjoying each other’s company.
We enjoy each other’s family and friends
and look forward to events with them.
We eventually moved in together about 5 years ago
and things are still going great!
Now we are looking toward the future and growing old
gracefully together as a married couple
and continuing our journey happily in love together.
