A Carl Jung Quote Un-Packed

To me, my interpretation of this quote is…
somewhat in line with a general perspective…
as they would mention:
“Direct experience is not for the faint hearted…”

True.
Most people are simply not evolved enough
to find the volition required to put in the effort required
to find the non-dual connection to Divinity
through the experience of deep Insight meditation.

Most people are satisfied with
a very dumbed down presentation of divinity
that can relate to the bovine herd mentality.

True again,
The deeper states of human consciousness
experienced in the very deep states of Jhana Insight meditation
can certainly cause someone that has not addressed their
personal egoic psychological issues…

To experience what St. John of the Cross described as
“The Dark Night of the Soul…
The progression of Insights during this very deep end of meditation
can be harsh for those that are not mentally stable.
Sure,
Anyone with very unstable mental conditions
that can’t be self corrected by a normal meditation and spiritual practice
should seek professional psychiatric help first…
But,
Typically…
Most people, over 80%
are not evolved enough, capable or willing
to invest the time and energy required to successfully even get close to
the very deep ‘Insight’ Jhana meditational states.

This quote just highlights how collectively dumbed down
our general sense of the profound aspects of higher human consciousness has become.

Religions were never meant to be a gateway to the divine…
They were only made up by the ego power driven misogynistic men
that desired and required an unstoppable force for power and domination.
The power of church and state
is indeed a very effective farce and weapon
for countries all throughout history.
For that mighty farce… they are great.
But,
For pursuing a deeper understanding of
who we are and our relationship to all that is…
“Divinity”.
Religions are at best… a bad interpretation of “God”…thus…
A dead end.

As this quote states…
Religions are demanding that they alone
are the mandatory ‘middle man’ to “God”…
If you want “God”…
Then,
They make the mentally vulnerable believe that…
Their church is the only way.

So,
In light…
You can see the sad but true meaning of this quote.
It’s part of the churches job…
As a self proclaimed only and exclusive
“middle man to god”…
That the church must keep their flock from figuring out that…
You don’t need a middle man to experience “God”.

Religion is a make believe, made up belief system.
You must take the churches’ word for divinity.

Buddhism and all the other non theological spiritual systems teach that

one should not take anyone’s word for ‘divinity’…
one must experience it themselves.
Then,
And only then,
Can one truly be at one with the experience of their True Nature.
