Starting in the beginning…
As we rolled along to a ceremony, we’d discus the couple’s “Luv Story”. At first it was just a recollection of their information from phone calls and emails… We wanted to personally connect with the real-life people that we are about to be an integral part of their Eternal Marital Bliss. We began to integrate this depth of personal connection into the flow of the ceremony. At some point I began to create a custom ‘Luv story dedication section’ where I point out the rewards of over-coming profound challenges and the Blessings that came on the other side of ‘endurance, patients… and finally Transcendence…

A wee bit about my ‘Depth of Spirit’, and
how my Spiritual philosophies come together to create your Luv Story Blessing…
As an ordained non-denominational Minister, my personal practice and mission are to unite all of God’s children closer to the Natural inseparableness that is intrinsic to the True Nature of our Beings. In the theme of being ‘non-denominational’, which goes far and beyond just embracing the 66,000+ Christian denominations… I’m not just a Christian… Although I was born, raised, baptized and even Catechism a Catholic… I’m also an open-minded Humanist, I study and promote our collective evolvement and improvement of the human condition. I also integrate into my daily Spiritual practice: Buddhism, Zen, Tao, Advaita Vedanta, Tibetan Bon Buddhism, Dzogchen and many other “non-duel” contemplative traditions that point experientially towards the ineffableness of Spiritual Life and our place in this Great Mystery.
This has taught me experientially how we are all one and inseparable from each other and all that Is. Knowing this, it would be easy for everyone to treat everybody as their dearly beloved brothers and sisters.
If one inspires to live by this Christian philosophical statement,
it would be a guiding light for all: It is written that Jesus said:
“Do on to others as you would have them do onto you”.
Eternal Marital Bliss and the Contentment of living harmoniously with thy neighbors comes naturally when we humble our egos and come from a place of Mindful Loving Kindness. Quiet your mind of any distractions and find your ‘center’. Close your eyes, sit up straight, but relaxed and balanced. Take 10 deep slow, full cycle breaths… Focus your awareness on the path of each breath… Then allow your mind to drift off to your Romantic Tropical Island Dream…

Catholic monk Father Thomas Keating, the Abbott of St. Joseph’s Abbey, used his pioneering Spiritual Wisdoms that inspired the famous Christian ‘Centering Prayer’ which he integrated the techniques of ‘Lectio Divina’ into this deeply contemplative practice. Lectio Divina, Latin for “Divine Reading” is a traditional monastic practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with Deep Spirit and to increase the knowledge of Sacred words. It does not treat Spiritual philosophies as texts to be studied, but as the living word. Traditionally,
Lectio Divina has four separate steps:
Read; Meditate; Pray; Contemplate.
First a passage of scripture is read, then its meaning is reflected upon. This is followed by prayers of intention to integrate these Wisdoms into our ever-present moments and contemplation on deepening our awareness of the harmony of all that “Is” …
which is the essence of God according to all Spiritual Traditions.
Unlike most ‘Romance novels’…
which inspire you speed read towards the ‘hot’ sections. These ‘Luv Stories’ along with my Spiritual Insights of Love and Blessings, should be read slowly to savor the ‘Real Life’ perspectives of other kindred Spirits and how we relate and connect deeply in our own experiences.
Everyone’s Luv Story is unique, special, life & death transcending, dynamic, full-on, engaging, and all encompassing… yet we all can relate to parts of other’s Luv Stories that brings us right to the center of our own Being… with our own struggles and Transcendence.
The essence of our True Nature of Being is:
Bliss, Love, Joy, Compassion, and the contentment of Equanimity…
You are the Happiness you seek.
Life is full of challenges, and personally, in our own ways we strive to abide in these euphoric states… Often the inspiration to seek the natural Bliss that is our True Essence, requires what at times feels like more than we can manifest. Some folks in desperate need seek out professional help, others will read self-help books, deepen their Spiritual Insights and Scriptures… and often are compelled to expand our Insights into the philosophies of Buddhism, Dzogchen, Tao, Zen, Advaita Vedanta and any contemplative Spiritual Wisdoms that can shine a Light of Awareness on the darkness we feel while our search for the place in our Being that reveals this perfection of Grace. This struggle seems un-fathomable…
until we connect with our True Love.

Has a way of liberating us from our personal pain & suffering in ways that bring us right to where the highest teachers intended with their Transmission of their Spiritual scriptures and sacred philosophies.
The sparkle of your loved one’s grin or a spontaneous hug is all that is required to perpetuate Eternal Marital Bliss for… eternity… and that’s a really long time 😉
